From the high country,
to your hands.
High in the mountains, the wool is gathered the way it always has been — from hardy sheep and yaks raised by herders who know each animal, at altitudes where the cold makes the fibre fine and strong. We work with those herders directly, season by season, taking only the wool that meets our standard.
It travels to a workshop in the Himalayas, where a room of women card it by hand, then roll it — wet, warm, and slow — into dense, perfect spheres. Some large. Some small. Because the wool is chosen, not ordered, we can only make what the season allows. This first release is one thousand sets. No factory line. No rush. That's why it feels different.
